Caramel Pecan Pie

This caramel pecan pie recipe is definitely a step up from your standard cookie. It’s not so easy to make, so you’ll need to sharpen your baking skills for this one. But the hard work is worth it, this pie is deliciously sweet and perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups cannabutter

  • 4 cups chopped pecans

  • 2 cups all purpose flour

  • ¼ cups powdered sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup honey

  • 3 tbsp whipped cream

Instructions

  1. The first step is to chop the pecans and toast them in the oven at 350°F for about 5-10 minutes.

  2. To get started on the crust, mix 1 cup of cannabutter with you flour and powdered sugar. It’s strongly recommended to use a food processor for this step.

  3. Once the crust is made, pat it onto the bottom of the cake tray and bake it at the same temperature for about 20 minutes.

  4. While that’s baking let’s start on the filling. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the brown sugar, honey, whipped cream and remaining cannabutter to a boil. Then, stir in the pecans.

  5. Once the filling is well mixed, pour it over the crust. Then you’re ready to return the pie to the over for another 20-30 minutes.
