Sometimes you don’t need a big dessert – just something to snack on. These candied pecans are the perfect movie night munchie that you’ll be able to throw back by the handful. They’re crunchy, sweet, and a little bit festive too.
Candied Pecans
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 egg white
1 tbsp water
½ cup cannabutter
1 pound pecan halves
Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 250°F and mix your sugar, cinnamon and salt together in a bowl.
Whisk your egg white with the water in a separate bowl until the mixture is well combined and frothy.
Throw your pecan halves into the egg white mixture.
In a larger bowl, add your sugar mixture and melted cannabutter into the pecan mixture.
Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, or until the nuts are evenly browned and dry. Be sure to stir them every 15 minutes for an even bake.
